Let’s Diligently Seek God Together!

by Oct 19, 20182018 Event

So, here we are – at the beginning of another Stratford Festival of Praise weekend. As the weekend begins, we want to make sure that you know that you are invited to join us as we as Christians from across Stratford and area unite in diligently seeking God, knowing that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him!

Diligently seeking God . . . what does that mean, really?  It means that we are committed to diligently seeking to live to praise God as we depend on Him in prayer.  It means that we are committed to diligently seeking to obey God’s commands through humble prayer and repentance. It means that, as far as it depends on us, we are committed to diligently seeking to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. It means that we are committed to diligently seeking to follow God’s will through walking in step with the Spirit, choosing Christlikeness through humble servanthood.

Yes, together we are committed to diligently seeking God– wanting to know and love Him more and more!

The battle is intense and the race can seem long, however let’s not give up the fight and let’s not abandon the race – instead, let’s press on in diligently seeking God together with humble gratefulness for God’s great mercy, and in devoted surrender to Jesus, our Lord!!

Will you join us?

Lord, here’s my life – a sacrifice to please You
To shout Your praise; to call on Your name
With all of my heart
Lord, here’s my life – a sacrifice to please You
To seek repentance; to seek revival
With all of my heart
With all of my heart!

Here I am to diligently seek You
To diligently love You – You’re my great reward!
With all I am, oh!, let me live to praise You
Let me live to please You – for You are my God!

Lord, here’s my life – a sacrifice to please You
To seek true unity within Your body
The body of Christ
Lord, here’s my life – a sacrifice to please You
To seek humility; to seek Your Spirit’s lead
With all of my heart
With all of my heart!

Here I am to diligently seek You
To diligently love You – You’re my great reward!
With all I am – oh!, let me live to praise You
Let me live to please You – for You are my God!

And what else can I do – oh, what else can I do
In view of Your great mercy, Lord?
Jesus, You gave Your life – the greatest sacrifice
And now, You are my great reward!
And what else can I do – oh, what else can I do
In view of Your great mercy, Lord?
Jesus, You gave Your life – the greatest sacrifice
And now, You are my great reward!

So here I am to diligently seek You
To diligently love You – You’re my great reward!
With all I am – oh!, let me live to praise You
Let me live to please You – for You are my God
Yes, you are my God!
